If you are a soccer fan then you must be aware of the Social Networking App called “Tonsser”. The app offers vertical social network aimed at youth soccer players. The app was later discovered by a bigger club and it grows rapidly.
The company has now signed Nike as the first brand channel partner with a 380, 000 registrations of the players. The startup has now raised another round of funding for 2018 expansion to the U.K.
The Co-founder and CEO of Tonsser Peter Holm told Techcrunch in on-call “Since the internet, you no longer need to go to Harvard to learn and be educated by the best. You can go to YouTube, master classes or see a Ted talk. We believe it should be the same in football where you don’t need to be at the best or most expensive academy to learn and be inspired by the best players and coaches,” he says.
